| | | Hi Jackie--I'm not sure what you mean by "PMT", but if you are referring to PMS, I have observed the same thing. I think when our bodies are less toxic and more healthy, its processes run better.
Do you know what your body fat is? The only real reason why you wouldn't have a cycle anymore would be if you are very fat or very thin. Have you been to your gyno recently to rule out a problem? |

| No. A lack of, or irregularity, of the menstrual cycle is not an indication of a "less toxic, more healthy body". Its the exact opposite.
You might want to look into something called the "female triad".
It sounds like you might be suffering from oligomenorrhea and as such this indicates to me, along with the fact that you say it has happen after you began eating differently (and maybe exercising more), you may be suffering from this condition. It can be serious so I suggest you speak to your doctor about this. |

| | Jackie I strongly reccomend you see a gynocologist about this. How long have you not had your period?.
I only say this becuase when I was extremely fit about 3 years ago and lost a ton of weight (not sure about the body fat % but am sure it was at the low end of the scale) I didnt get my period for about 4-5 months.
I think my body went a little haywire becuase all of a sudden I got the BIGGEST cravings for sugar that i seriously couldnt control... I started putting on weight VERY quickly and finally went to see a gynocologist who did scans and thats when I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)...
I am not saying this will happen to you but please go and see a professional as I dont want you to go through the symptoms of PCOS.... it really threw me off track.
Good luck and take care |

| | | | my recommendation is go see your doctor and ask if this is normal or not just to make sure.

| | | Ok thanks, i really dont think its anything serious, I do get my periods in a pattern kinda, like sometimes i get them in 3 weeks then 7, i dunno y.
So i do still get them, but just not that much comes out as it use to, and i know i am defiantly heathlier than i used to be. |

| | | | could also just be your body changing too. i'd say if it's absent then see a dr., but if you are still getting them, then u should be fine. sounds like your ok and you're lucky to have mild pms or no pms. i hate pms....LOL!

I find that a low dairy and low sugar diet helps with pms a lot.
Thanks

| | Glad to hear you do get them!! Trust me its a million times worse when you dont.
A gynocologist is a specialist and looks after all things female - female reproductive system and diseases etc... I have a lot of friends who see one every year for a checkup even though they dont have any actual symptoms, kinda like seeing your dentist even though your teeth seem to be fine.
Really glad to hear that its a case of PMT/PMS!!....
Cheers
