Using Supercissus is causing my hair to fall out!

Hello All,

New to this forum and I appreciate (in advance) your support.

I am frustrated and would love some input, thoughts, ideas regarding my problem. I work out 6 days a week, I weight train 4 days a week and twice a week I train with a trainer. When I am either pushing or pulling 65 or 75 LBS, I experience serious arthritic-like pain in the joints in both of my hands. I am able to to perform the exercise, the pain does not come until I let go. The pain is in my joints and I was told it was arthritis, but after several visits to various specialists, MRIs & X-rays say there is no arthritis in my hands. My trainer recommended the supplement Supercissus. I got it, started taking 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening, and it works! I am able to weight train without the severe pain. Problem solved....right? Not so easy, I'm afraid.

After a few months of using supercissus, I noticed my hair falling out in clumps, well okay...clumps is not fair, but I am losing A LOT of hair when I brush and when I shampoo. I can feel that my hair is lighter and less full than it used to be, and it is coming out more and more each day. After a trip to another specialist, it was suggested to me that the supercissus is what is causing my hair loss. It makes sense, since I never had hair loss before I started using the supercissus. But I cannot stop taking the supercissus, as it is the only thing that I have used that actually works for the pain in my hands which allows me to train properly.

So my questions are this, has anyone else had any experience or knowledge of Supercissus causing hair loss, or does anyone have any suggestions for another product, other than Supercissus that I could try to prevent the pain in my hands?

I am 41 years old and in otherwise in fine physical health. By the way, I like my hair and don't want to lose it!

I am sure there is a wealth of knowledge out there and could genuinely use some input.

Thanks in advance....

LoriKay

Have you thought about switching to another brand of connective tissue supplement to see if it helps with the problem?

I would love to try another brand, can you make a suggestion for something you think is comparable?

Unfortunately I dont live in the states so I dont really know many of your supplements. I googled the one you were taking. I would ask someone at your supplement shop what a comparable product is
