14 year old routine

Hello. I was working out before for about 2 months saw glorious results but stopped due to my elders advising me not to work out until I'm 16-18. My body was not fit in terms of cardiovascular excersizes but was strong enough to weight lift. I wish to stay strong enough to be able to start working out again. For now I'm doing 20 pull ups(hoping to be able to do more) , 50 push ups; one normal and one thrust up, 100 crunches, 50 chair dips; 20/20/10 for every other day and I'm running for an hour the next day . I'm wondering if I should continue with this or start my weight lifting routine again because my gym teachers are saying that working out is fine as long as your don't lift 400 pounds.

Hi,
It's a very common misconception that people think children and young adults shouldnt do resistance training or weights, it's not the case.
It sounds like what you're doing is great. Keep with the body weight exercises as they are fine to do. The general rule for teenagers is to stick to body weight exercises and moderate weights training. So what you're doing is fine...
