Hey guys, im 16, 5'11", weigh 132pounds And I run 5 miles a day
Ive been doing sit ups for the past 2 weeks because i decided i want to work on getting a 6 pack and a tighter stomach. My diet is good with little sugar and very little junk food. I've got a very small waist size compared to my shoulders and chest but still my stomach seems soft.
For the past 2 weeks ive been doing
In the morning:
200 sit ups
50 reverse crunches w/ ankle weights
3 "reps" of V-Sit up formation while waiving hands from ground to about 1.5 feet above ground for 1 minute (not sure what thats called but it kills to do)
Same thing at night before i go to bed, when i first started this it killed and i went through the day with a pain in my abs, but now ive finnally caught up these past two days and can do my morning and night sit ups without having to take a day off for pain.
I just want to ask people if you think this would help me develop a 6-pack?
Any advice/comments would be appreciated, thanks.
keep up the cardio and sit-ups also try planks (search forum for it theres a link some where) and try having a protein shake after or some form of lean meat. your muscles cant built with out protein.
