jump higher/people with high hops!
My vertical jump is 25 feet. And my friends say i Jump high, but in a way I think I can increase my hops even more. While playing basketball I can dunk 9 ft. When i Go to the a gym i can touch and even hang from a 10ft court. Well I want to have atleast a 40 inch vertical jump,I am strongly determined to reach this goal......So here is my workout schedule and refeference chart. I would really appreciate the help.Advice,opinions,anything...thanks and goodbye,and please if you read this, please reply........ it would really help out.
Monday-friday
60 Calf raises
30 left leg calf raises
30 right leg calf raises
30 left leg squats
30 right leg squats
30 squats
15 lunges
100 mini hops
Details about myself
age= 16
weight=160 lbs
height=5'9
Other=Im in pretty good shape
P.S what about this,would theses exercises be more effective.
80 calf raises
40 left leg calf raises
40 right leg calf raises
40 squats
40 left leg squats
40 right leg squats
20 lunges
150 mini hops

I was thinking the same thing...that's damn impressive, which, I believe would make him the world's highest vertical jumper.
All jokes aside, increasing vertical jump isn't all calf work and single leg squats. Look into Olympic lifts or do a google search on plyometrics. They are a great way to increasing power production without have to use much weight. Most are even done with your body weight.
