swimming

I had an injury in a game of football a few weeks ago that could never allow me to play again depending on what they find in my knee(what type of cartilage tears and where). I was wondering if you guys know anyone who had switched a sport (doctor says i would be able to swim) at 12-14 years old and actually made something out of it or think that i could do so.
thanks luc

I started swimming at age 12 after doing gymnastics up to that point. I had big problems with my achilles tendon that prevented me from progressing to the next level. I swam from age 12-19 competitively and ranked nationally. So yes, you can make something of it!

Thats good because the max speed you can move in water is two times your body length per second before drag forces outweigh propulsion.

Give swimming a shot. Life isnt just soccer lol. I found that one out big time
