is it safe to eat spinach everyday?

i eat a ton of spinach, i use it fresh as my lettuce for sandwiches and with a large salad, and often eat some frozen spinach with a meal

however i keep hearing of e coli risks so is eating so much spinach safe?

Spinach is a food that many people avoid because they think it is gross. If you like it, eat up. Spinach is a superfood.

    Spinach is a wonderful food.

The recall was a good while back, and related to a specific problem (I believe in the irrigation system). There is no inherent risk in spinach itself, the e-coli problem could have just as easily been with potatoes, carrots, or any other type of produce. Recently, there has been another recall (albeit a much much smaller one), that pertains to a specific brand and something that contaminated something in the packaging plant. Again, could have just as easily been anything else - nothing to do with spinach itself.

There is somewhat of an inherent risk with all produce products ---- meaning you have to wash them before you eat them. Although, I'm fairly sure you knew that already, and that certainly isn't any reason to avoid produce.

I personaly cant stand it, but yes, its a very good food. Cant go wrong here.

There were a small batch of produce that had some problems that were imported I think. But this has been taken care of.

    Eat up.....fantastic food......if one can stomach it......lol

Spinich is great but please beware that extreme allergic reactions have been known to occur in some individuals when they consume spinich. My good friend Popeye suffered terribly with this,

I love spinach along with mustard, turnip and collard greens.......
    I also love peas.

The one thing that will make me ralph are Lima Beans

I am actually cooking up some spinach right now to go with lunch.

Spinach is good for you unless of course if you are allergic to it

I don't care for spinach cooked, but baby spinach in a salad?

Come on Chillen, you can't tell me that you can actually taste raw baby spinach mixed into a salad. Even my picky-a*s husband will eat that. lol

Okay, I do get rocken and a rollen with Spinach: When I taste it my taste buds just rock! And, my stomach just rolls....(A definite work out to consider......uh, no!)

One has to have common sense: When to rock and when to roll......uh....I pass.......thank you very much. It also fires up my nose nostrils,,,,,,and being already fired up.........uh.......I dont need this sort.....lol (unless you like me more whackie)
