bulking and clean bulking are two different things, and a clean bulk results in less fat gained.
your assumption that bag'd chips have no trans fat is faulty...you're not getting a lot of healthy fat in them.
they are LOADED with salt.
they are LOADED with preservatives.
they are HIGHLY processed. the more processed something is, the less 'good' it is for you. chips, hot dogs, boxed foods...are all among the worst stuff you can use for fuel to run your body.
