Well all those people are technically correct...
You DO want to let your body rest if it aches....but you can sometimes work out as much as you do. I work out about 5 days straight, and have weekends off. The switch up is good, it's what I do. But sometimes, (like today for me), you just need to give your body a break, signs are when you ache a lot.
It's hard to explain.....just.....punch her in the ****.
